Today I received the fourth of Derek Palmer's great yarns "The Wonderful Beaver" - enjoy it over a coffee.

I have been watching the delivery flight of Air Canada's first B773 which should just be touching down in Montreal as I type this (14:35EDT). It left BFI about four hours ago for the 2,280nm trip. C-FITL is her registration.

Gary Gentle sent me a picture sent to him years ago, I tweaked it and here she be. "Snowbird 10". I'll have to check when they come to town this June.

Working away today with some more of the late Peter Keating's great images, courtesy of Ian MacFarlane. Peter travelled the world and took shots of many diverse aircraft types. He was one of the few wide ranging photographers in the early days, a real explorer. I am honoured to have his work on the website.

I am continuing to correct document encoding problems on the website, this task is ongoing under "housekeeping duties".

Postie just brought some slides from Jim Hansel in Illinois and Cameron Widrig in Northern Québec. Jim's all taken at Red Lake, Ontario in recent years, Cameron's from BC in the 1980's. Thank you gents. Some more wonderful time capsules for us all to enjoy.

Thanks also to Ian Macdonald for scanning some more of his black and white negs for us, again, earlier shots. Cheers Ian.

Added another image from Ian MacFarlane's fine collection, of HK-559 (1554) taken by Karl Kramer at Villavicento in 1987. Ian has done such a fine job of cleaning up the images, I have very little tweaking to do. Thanks Ian for your wonderful contribution to our web site!

If I can, I hope to work through my huge backlog of V I S T A S images. My sincere thanks to all who have sent them in for consideration. I have a few other priorities this month and the website may have to take a back seat. I will be working on a presentation for the end of May at Downsview. Many of you know about this event already, but here is some information for those of you who don't!
