• 53-7889 US Army #1430. L-20 No:.431. Command A-4. Delivered 24-Sep-1954. Built as L-20A and re-designated U-6A in 1962.

• Note: Chuck Ross wrote: In late 1965, early 1966, 53-7889 was one of a line of seven or eight maintenance trainer aircraft at Ft. Rucker.  It was suitable for engine runups but probably not flight-worthy at the time.
