Accident Location unknown. 09-Jun-2014. Prior to takeoff the pilot stated he determined the wind direction was w/sw at 15 mph gusting to approximately 25mph and he aligned the aircraft for a departure into the wind. The pilot stated that as the aircraft was transitioning onto the step a wind gust from the left lifted the left wing causing the right wing tip to strike the water. The aircraft was not airborne and damage was limited to the right wingtip only.
