CF-EYP de Havilland Demonstrator (Crop Dusting). Delivered 30-Apr-1953.

CF-EYP BC Air Lines Ltd., Vancouver, BC. Circa Sep-1960 until canx prior to Certificate of Airworthiness renewal dated 08-Apr-1971.

CF-EYP Trans-Provincial Airlines, Terrace, BC. Regd prior Jul-1969. Canx date currently unknown.

Accident: Terrace BC. 26 ml West of Sandspit. 53°23’N 132°30’W. 12-Jul-1969. The aircraft struck trees at 1,200ft on a mountainside with leading edge of left wing while in flight in poor visibility. The flight was continued and aircraft was landed at Sandspit. It was inspected by the pilot and subsequently flown to the Company’s main base at Terrace. Substantial damage to the aircraft and no injury reported.

Accident: Tasu Inlet, BC. 16-Feb-1971. On arrival the pilot circled over the area, did a cockpit check and started his landing approach. Everything appeared normal until the aircraft touched the water. Immediately following touchdown the aircraft went nose down into the water, stayed in a vertical attitude for a short period and then nosed over inverted with only the floats above water, It was then noted that the undercarriage was in the down position.
