Accident: Un named location. Lat 54°29’N Lon 57°12’W. 02-Mar-1957. Aircraft struck a hard snow drift during its landing run, bounced and settled down heavily. Aircraft suffered substantial damage to elevator main spar, tail cone bracket RH and LH. The deck plate assembly, canted bulkhead. Fuselage skin and windshield port side split. No injuries recorded.

Accident: Un named location Lat 55°29’N Lon 60°15’W. 26-Mar-1957. The pilot was unable to control the aircraft on the ground in gusty conditions. The aircraft was swung by a gust of wind while taxiing which made the tail wheel hit a snow drift damaging the tail assembly. Substantial damage to the tail assembly occurred with several items and areas of the rear fuselage requiring attention.

• CF-GQF Eastern Provincial Airways (1963) Ltd., Gander, NL. Circa 1964-until canx prior to C of A dated 30-Apr-1972.

Accident: Mary’s Harbour, NL. 52°19’N 55°51’W. 15-Feb-1965. After selecting skis down the fuel selector was changed to the front tank and a few seconds later, as the aircraft was turning downwind the engine stopped. The pilot selected a clearing straight ahead where the aircraft was landed coming to rest against a number of small trees. No injury recorded. The aircraft suffered substantial damage.

Accident: Harbour Breton, Newfoundland. 47°29’N 55°49’W 23-Jan-1968. The pilot, in a ski equipped aircraft chose to land in an area that was unsuitable for a ski landing because of lack of sufficient space for the configuration. Also the surrounding terrain prevented overshoot action. Aircraft struck left bank of lake causing substantial damage.

Incident: Prince Rupert, BC. 15-May-1993. Report states privately owned aircraft had an engine failure in the vicinity of Lucky Island Lighthouse. The pilot issued a PAN message and landed safely with no injuries. CADORS report 1993P0179
