Note: Purchased by Hillcrest at the Davis Monthan auction sale on 29-Jan-1976 for $21,000US. Total time 9,611.7 hours, engine 6,977.7 hours. Sold as providing “no reasonable potential for normal certification”. Comments at sale included: only two seats, not chromed cylinders and rear data plate.

Accident: Kotzebue, AK. 08-Mar-1987. The pilot stated that he encountered a complete whiteout condition and during the emergency landing on the frozen lake he lost directional control of the aircraft causing the left wing to strike the ground. NTSB report ANC92FA116.
