Airframe: 13,897 TTSN

The aircraft presents in excellent condition, and is the result of a 5,000 man hour restoration process, reflecting the highest quality workmanship for which Wrightair New Zealand have become well recognised within the Beaver fraternity worldwide. Previous restorations of this popular de Havilland Canada utility aircraft by us have been exported to discerning customers in Australia, America, Canada and Germany.

The entire fuselage and both wings have been re-skinned, and all internal frames, stringers and components have each been individually removed, inspected and either refinished or replaced with new parts prior to reassembly. Both engine cowls [upper induction] have been rebuilt with new skins and latches throughout.

Other popular options include: Lifetime Wing Struts, Tip tanks, Sealand Cabin Struts, Firewall mounted Battery, Cleveland Wheels and Brakes, ‘Jasco’ 50 Amp Alternator, ‘Sealand’ cabin extension incorporating large windows and rear baggage door, all new ‘Mycarta’ floors, and all interior upholstery has been refurbished, providing eight place seating in quality leather with, quilted headlining, pure wool carpets, Pilots harnesses, new passenger seat belts, and cargo net restraints.

The Engine is a ‘O’ timed R985-14B unit from Tulsa Aircraft engines USA, and has since run 35 hours. The Hartzell 3 blade Propeller is new and includes a polished Spinner Kit.

All other Engine accessories including, Starter, Alternator, Fuel Pump, Prop Governor, Baffles, Oil and Fuel Hoses, are new or newly overhauled.

All flight and engine instruments are either new or overhauled and the aircraft has been completely re-wired throughout and features, key start, individual switches and circuit breakers.

New tinted Windscreens and rear Cabin Windows have been installed, with all door surrounds featuring NZ honeysuckle wood trims.

The Avionics suite installed includes:

Double Garmin SL40 Com, Garmin GTX 327 Transponder with Encoder, PMA7000H Switching Panel/Intercom wired for 8 place audio, 695 moving map GPS, JPI Fuel Flow, Alcor EGT, Whelan Strobe system, and 406 ELT.

This aircraft is the eighth Beaver restoration Wrightair New Zealand have carried out, and once again provides an opportunity for a discerning aircraft operator to own one of these exceptional utility aircraft.
