Here is my current project - you can follow along a see how much, or just how little I get done in each session. Again time in 00 Hours : 00 Minutes
"The Target" - Elapsed time - Hours:Minutes

Only an hour spent painting today, as domestic duties took over. Fine fall weather helped with the outside work. Clearing leaves from eavestroughs, and some raking . . leaves seem to be the main event these days.

No detailed work on the painting, blocking in to cover the white!

Ran out of daylight today, due to hour change to Eastern Standard Time. Better get started earlier tomorrow.

Reasonable day of canvas covering, I see about a quarter done. Mind you, this is only roughing in work, looking forward to getting down to a cellular level . . <grin>.
11:20

Today I treated myself to a few new brushes, older ones were loosing hairs! Two Filberts were selected to make my work more pleasant, a No:2 and a No:8. Both coming from the Princetown stable.

Did some more drawing as my initial draft was not enough detail. I was getting "lost in the leaves" . .

Still early days.

A reminder of where I am heading . . .

Yesterday the treats were a few new paints, really runny acrylics. Never worked with those before. I had to figure out a way to save the paints and conjure up my old watercolour tray. It spends the night in a zip-lock bag. seems to work so far. In doing my conjuring, I managed to find a treasure trove of fine brushes!

Today's post is yesterday and today's output.

Again, today's post is yesterday and today's output. More blocking in, nice to play on white canvas. Details later, one leaf at a time.

Not too much to show for today's labours. Ran out of daylight again.

Moving up in the world. Rainy day here. For some reason, nice to paint . . even though it is dull. Magnificent dawn today, perhaps that is why I am on a roll.
26:25

Doing my update in the middle of the day now, when there is more light. Gets dark so early now. Might try to work over to the left a bit later today. But there may be other items on my agenda.
28:35
28:35
Getting up towards the last area, slowly. I was thinking I would reach that area by tomorrow, Monday 20th November. Well . . . not quite. Might zoom up tha last bit before I settle down to fine details. I have the painting split up into eighty squares . . . maybe as many as four squares a day? Hmm, another three weeks or so . . .

Topping out in the next two days?
32:45

The lyrics sung by Kermit the Frog - "It's not easy being Green" . . kept popping into my head today . . .

. . . I can't imagine why . . .

34:55
Two short sessions only today, other projects on the go and my back is sore. Overdid the yard work as usual.

Tomorrow will see the white vanish . . maybe?

As you will see below, did manage to cover the white!!

From here on, in the next phase, I will just do each group of four squares and you can search for them on the original ;-)

Worked on the first of twenty boxes in my grid - did the bottom right hand corner today. Might take between two and three hours for each of the boxes. I will see if I can just keep adding in this format. Maybe twenty days to go . . . or so.

After only one hour on the painting yesterday, I had to put in three today. Tomorrow, No:15, moving left, looks as though it might need the same amount of brush time. Oh yes, I did finish the part I missed earlier.

Today needed three hours, but I stopped early. Might finish tomorrow if No:07 does not need too much work. I have a feeling it will demand at least three hours.

Update: Spent just under three hours, mostly on No:07 but about forty minutes on the edge of No:08 - fussing with that tricky turquoise!
