Note: Displayed as “NZ6001" City of Auckland” at Wigram, as one of two aircraft serving on the ice from 1956 with the Trans Antarctic Expedition and was lost in an accident on the Beardmore- Glacier in January 1960. In 1959 the aircraft was re-serialed NZ6010 when it was realised that NZ6001 was the number allocated to a Gloster Meteor.
