Accident: Ivanhoe Lake, ON. 10-Jun-1971. To avoid hitting deadhead in water on landing rollout power was applied to lift the aircraft over it. As there was insufficient area for the aircraft to come to a stop, it was run off onto a sandy beach causing the aircraft to invert. Substantial damage to the aircraft. Pilot uninjured.
