52-6120 was made available on 13- May-1953, accepted on 20-May-1953 by the 6600th Air Depot AMO (Air Material Overseas Unit), at Downsview, ON., after which it was delivered to the Tactical Air Command at George AFB., CA., where it was attached to the 1st Liaison Squadron from 08-Jun-1953. On 21-Sep-1953 it was re assigned and moved to the Air Proving Ground Command at Eglin AFB., FL joining the 3201st Air Base Wing. Staying on this assignment it moved to Holloman AFB., NM on 03-May-1955 and was attached to the 3205th Drone Group until 11-Jul-1956.

It now went to Downsview for a couple of months care and attention between until 05-Sep-1956 and then returned to its previous unit at Holloman where it stayed until 07-Mar-1957. Staying at Holloman it was now assigned to the re designated Air Research and Development Command and attached to the Holloman Development Centre until 25-Apr-1958 serving with several units including the 3205th Drone Group, the Air Proving Ground Centre and a unit titled PGCCF which it is assumed relates to the Proving Ground Command.

The record card shows a trip of just two days to the Oklahoma City Air Depot at Tinker AFB., OK., and then returning to Holloman. It must have taken all of that time to cover the distance. It stayed at Holloman until 22-Jun-1959 after which it passed to Minneapolis St Paul and the Northern American Company facility and after a short time, again returned to Holloman. It finally left on 14-Nov-1960 with an assignment to the Logistics Command and moved to the 2704th Aircraft Storage and Disposition Group where it rested until 24-May-1961. It now had an assignment with the Strategic Air Command at Reese AFB., TX., where it was attached to the 3500th Pilot Training Wing and moved over to the 3500th Maintenance Support Group.

On the 25-Jan-1963 in was attached to the 310th Strategic Aerospace Wing at Schilling AFB., KS., and then returned to Davis Monthan on 17-May-1965 where it remained until 27-Sep-1965 before moving on to the Sacramento Air Material Area at McClellan AFB., CA. It was struck off charge on 18-Oct-1965 when it was passed to the South Vietnamese AF under a Military Aid Programme contract.
