51-16470 was Assigned to the Far East Air Force and allocated to 10^th Liaison Squadron with the 5^th Air Force at Yong Dong Po AFB, South Korea until it suffered Category 4 damage (destroyed) on 02-Sep-1952 in a ground collision accident on a hillside just SW of the K-47 airfield, Chunchon, along MSR (Major Supply Route 29) where the pilot, Capt. Clyde J. Behney was killed.
